    Park Bo Gum started his career when he sent videos of him singing and doing piano to numerous entertainment agencies and that's when he managed to receive offers. Right after, he got offers to do small roles in drama and finally got his first main role in as a psychopathic lawyer in Hello Monster.

    Park Bo Gum's acting skill had been evident throughout the Kdrama community that he bagged the Top Excellence Award at the 30th KBS Drama Awards and even won the Acting Award at the 16th Korea Assembly Grand Award. Following are his Actor of the Year Award from Gallup Korea and the first actor to top Forbes' Korea Power, Celebrity List.

    Kim Jin Hyeok, the role of Park Bo Gum is an ordinary man who tries to find a job that he could be a regular employee. For the meantime, he does numerous part-time jobs to survive his daily needs. When he's about to say farewell to his 20s, he decided to visit Cuba where he met Cha Soo Hyun played by Song Hye Kyo, a daughter of a politician, divorced and hotel CEO. When they returned back to Korea, Kim Jin Hyeok received a phone call, had an interview at a hotel for a hiring position and later on has been hired by Cha Soo Hyun who happens to be the CEO of the hotel he applied for.

    Park Bo Gum plays the role of a crown prince in this drama (Crown Prince Hyomyeong) who met Hong Ra On, a female who disguised herself as a male who gives pieces of advice to men about dating. Since the crown prince got interested to Hong Ra On, his eunuchs even noticed and become aware that he wanted to get Hong Ra On as a part of his team. On the other hand, the crown prince didn't let his guards off by not telling his real identity so the female lead is unaware of who he is.

    Childhood friends Duk Sun (played by Hyeri), Jung Hwan (Ryoo Joon Yeol), Sun Woo (Ko Gyung Pyo) and Dong Ryeong (Lee Dong Hwi) are high school students back in 1988. At that time, Taek (played by Park Bo Gum) is a go player. Growing up together, they opt to live in a single neighborhood so their friendship grew stronger and their families became really close. They often spend their time in their hideout which is Taek's room.

    In this story, Taek is a dropout student but a famous go player popularly known in the field as God so his only friends are these four people who've gone differently as they grew up.

    Having the role of a psychopathic lawyer, he's been involved with Lee Hyun (the role of Seo In-Guk) who happens to be an excellent high-end criminal profile having a malicious kind of tongue and manners. Since Lee Hyun has been involved with profiling on numerous cases, she encountered an elite detective named Cha Ji An (played by Jang Na Ra). Afterwards, they have to work on numerous cases together and this eventually leads to a romantic relationship.

    Park Bo Gum had a guest role in the drama 'The Producers.' On episode 9 of the drama, he had a cameo role as himself and popped up in the story of young TV producers who tirelessly work to create contents for the entertainment department of a huge television network in South Korea.
